About the project

Following a nervous breakdown, François Plante, a high school teacher, decides to leave everything behind and move to a small country farm with his wife and their teenage son. He hopes to write his long-awaited novel, raise chickens and goats, make his own cheese, and live a free and peaceful life—organic, eco-friendly, and guided by the rhythm of the seasons. But his promise of happiness will be far from restful, as several unexpected challenges begin to arise.
