About the project

A series of sophisticated bombs throws the city into terror. Behind these attacks hides a mysterious bomb-maker known as “Matrioshka.” Véronique Valiquette, a sergeant and explosives expert with the national police, first confronts him in the field, but soon becomes the target of his violence when an explosion seriously injures her and claims the life of someone dear to her. Traumatized both physically and psychologically, this strong-willed woman must rebuild herself, regain confidence in her abilities, her instincts, and her expertise, all while facing the limitations of her now-damaged hands, which no longer possess the dexterity they once had.
