About the project

During a final successful recovery, Chuck unexpectedly encounters a young drug user who turns out to be his illegitimate son, the result of a trashy one-night stand. Dazed, the boy runs away, setting off on a self-destructing bullet. Chuck wants to save him and sets out to find him, which involves traversing the seedy underbelly of Quebec City and putting his sobriety to the test. Season 2 plunges Chuck into the depths of street drug addiction, exploring the father-son relationship in a story that is poignant, funny, and unsettling. He navigates between diverse worlds that paint contrasting portraits of our society, where the search for meaning and marginalization constantly coexist in the eyes of others.
